The event is a series of hands-on workstations including:
- a visit to active research labs
- students learn about the structures of the cell and how we can visualise them
- students get to use a $1 million microscope
- students take their own images and print them out to take home.
- presentations from young researchers as they take students through the design, implementation and interpretation of their experiments.
This event is aimed at Year 9 & 10 students and is limited to groups of 10 students per teacher. Schools may arrange multiple groups, as long at the 10:1 ratio is maintained.
